10 amazing viewpoints

La Cité de Pierres is on a promontory nestled on the edge of the Causse Noir and overlooking the Dourbie Valley.

With its 10 breath-taking viewpoints, you can discover the city in its entirety with the fantastic maze of alleys and ramparts, the towers and monumental bastions, the cirques and mysterious ravines.

There is also a 360° panoramic viewpoint of the surrounding area of the Grands Causses, as far as the eye can see: Larzac, Méjean and Sauveterre.

Depending on the time of day, the seasons and the angle of the sun, the bewitching lights bring this dead city to life, magnifying the architecture and colours across time and space.

These views, among the most beautiful panoramas of the Aveyron (12), can be seen during your walks, from the mini train, during a via ferrata or an Explor'Game.
